Charles Searcy Obituary
Charles Max Searcy, age 77, of Bauxite, AR, died Friday, January 5, 2018.
He was the son of the late Levi Searcy and the late Edna Searcy and a native of Rutherford County. He is the widower of the late Edna Brown Searcy. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Cypress, Texas. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren; Ethan Cole Johnson, Levi Daniel Johnson and Charles Wyatt Johnson.
He is survived by
Two Daughters:
Jennifer Searcy Johnson of Bauxite, AR
Teresa Searcy Walker of Philadelphia, PA.
Two honorary children adopted in love; Eddie Mathison and Karen Mathison
Three Sisters:
Louise Elliott of Gastonia, NC
Velma Earley and her husband Max of Gastonia, NC
Charlotte Hottel and her husband David of Johnson City, TN
Three Brothers:
Boyd Searcy and his wife Beuia of Marion, NC
David Searcy and his wife Carolyn of Auburn, GA
Kenneth Searcy of Charlotte, NC
Three Grandchildren: Logan Johnson, Delilah Johnson and Laurel Johnson.
A number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday at Bill's Creek Baptist Church prior to the service. The Funeral service will be at Bill's Creek Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 with Reverend Claude McIntosh officiating. Interment will be at Bill's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
