L. Crawford Obituary
Reverend L. Paul Crawford, age 91, of Rutherfordton, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.
He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late John Merrill Crawford and the late Mintie Epley Crawford. He was a Bi-Vocational Minister and a member of Southern Baptist Church. He was retired from Broyhill Furniture in Rutherfordton after 21 years and loved reading his bible, spending time with his family and he spent many years helping to raise his six grandsons. He also served as Chaplain at Oak Grove Healthcare for seven years. He was preceded in death by his wife Dot Crawford, three brothers and six sisters.
He is survived by:

Sarah C. Lee and husband Jack of Bostic
One Son:
Roger Paul Crawford and wife Carolyn Quill of Durham
Six Grandsons:
Rodney S. Willis, Rev. Paul D. Willis, John W. Willis, Jason W. Lee, James M. Lee and Jonathan A. Lee
Eleven Great-Grandchildren
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Southern Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Southern Baptist Church at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2018 with Reverend Paul D. Willis, John W. Willis and Reverend John Perry officiating. Interment will be at Southern Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the India Mission Trip c/o Shiloh Baptist Church at 1810 Poors Ford Rd. Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
