Lucille Freeman Hudson Hutchins

Lucille Freeman Hudson Hutchins, age 92, of Mount Vernon community died Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Fair Haven of Forest City. She was the daughter of the late William Henry Hudson and the late Mary Lou Freeman Hudson and a native of Rutherford County. Lucille was a lifelong active member of Mount Vernon Bapitst Church. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society. In addition to her parents she was proceded in death by her husband Garland Hutchins; sister Georgianna Smart and brother Joseph Hicks Hudson She is survived by: Three Sons: Ronald Hutchins and his wife Pam of Rutherfordton Donald Hutchins and his wife Melanie of Rutherfordton Michael Hutchins and his wife Sheila of Ellenboro Eight Grandchildren: Jason Hutchins, Bryan Hutchins, Heather Mosier, Amanda Bennett, Leslie Bennett, Kyle Hutchins, Haley Blalock and Emily Hutchins Five Great-grandchildren: Sydney Bennett, Patrick Haith, Carmine Mosier, Layton Blalock and Hudson Blalock The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Mt Vernon Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Mt Vernon Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. Interment will be at Mt.Vernon Baptist Cemetery.
