Brandon Keith Goforth, age 32, of Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Charlotte, NC.
When God called Brandon home he was looking for a smiling angel and a good laugh. Brandon always had a smile that no one will ever forget and could make you laugh no matter what. When he left us, he took a piece of everyone's heart with him. Brandon had a soul full of a beautiful energy for the ones whose hearts may never heal from his loss, his mother Linda Abercrombie and father Donald Goforth. "Mama loved her baby so much, he was so kind and so good to everyone. We will never forget your beautiful smile my sweet son, you know that Ma loved you so much and I thank God for the past 12 years of closeness, friendship and growth we shared together. I also know that you heard and accepted every word about Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, and proud to say you accepted Jesus in your heart." As for the few hearts who will never truly heal, will be Aubrey Guarriello, the love of Brandon's life. Brandon's love for Aubrey began in 5th grade and has only grown stronger through the years. From their love came a little Brandon, his daughter Leila Goforth, whom he loved with all his heart and soul. As time moved forward his heart grew with more love for his son Lorenzo Goforth, " his little Buddy." Another heart that will never heal is his lifelong best friend Nelson Dale, whom will now carry Brandon's friendship and memory in his heart for the years to come. Through this tragedy Brandon's family hopes it will impact all those who loved and knew him within their choices that they make in life can hurt not only themselves but the ones that loved them.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City, NC.
