Gene Conley Obituary
Gene Raymond Conley, age 76, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital Inc. in Columbus, NC.
He was a native of Chandler, OK and the son of the late Richard M. Conley and the late Fern Opal Sims. He was a US Navy veteran of Vietnam and was assigned to the USS Sutter County. He was an avid fly fisherman an loved to travel. He was preceded in death by one brother Richard Conley.
He is survived by:
His wife Menelia S. Adams and their beloved dog Osito

Sonja Haugan and husband Drew
Teresa Neumann and husband Gerry
Two Sisters:
Janice Louise Robens
Judith Ann Crews
One step-son: Frank and his wife Marlene
One step-daughter:
Terry and her husband James
Three Grandchildren:
Shannon and her husband Philip, Gary and partner Jessica, Jennifer and her husband Justin.
Six Great-Grandchildren:
Ayva, Gavin, Trinity, Angelina, Gabriella and Braiden
Step-grandchildren: Frank Jeremy, David Andrew, Rebecca, Jessica and Griffin.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The memorial service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 22, 2019. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the veteran charity of your choice of to Trout Unlimited at PO Box 7400
