Jennie Brewer Obituary
Jennie Summers Brewer, age 99, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, November 27, 2017, at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions in Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late O. E. Summers and the late Eliza Blanton Summers and a native of Rutherford County. Jennie was the widow of the late Edgar Brewer. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist church and worked for Doncaster Tanner and Rutherford Hospital. She was preceded in death by three brothers; R J Summers, Walter Summers and Francis Summers and two sisters; Louvenia Dobbins and Nellie Goode.
She is survived by
One Daughter:
Bonnie Brewer Parton of Rutherfordton, NC
Three Grandchildren: Tanya Watson and her husband Jason, Shelli Allen and her husband Joey, Jennifer Travis and her husband Bart.
Three Great-Grandchildren: Katie and Emma Coffey, Hannah Allen.
One Brother:

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2017 prior to the service at McMahan's. The Funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2017 with Reverend Joey Allen officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
