Max Rollins Obituary
Max Jacob Rollins, age 63, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, October 2, 2017, at home.
He was the son of the late N J Rollins and the late Vadah Mathis Rollins and a native of Rutherford County. Max was the widower of the late Kathy Dobbins Rollins. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Bostic. He sang with the gospel music group Blessed Hope. Max loved being outdoors and was an avid gardner. He was preceded in death by one brother David Rollins.
He is survived by
Two Sons:
Heath Duane Toney and his wife Lori,
Chad Toney and his wife Pam.
One Brother:
Arthur Rollins and his wife Faith Ann.
Three Grandchildren: Payne Toney, Taylor Toney and Kaitlyn Toney.
Two nephews; Arty Rollins and Adam Rollins
One niece: Allison Bess.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 with Reverend Dr. Keith Stephenson, Reverend Kelly Luckadoo, Reverend Clayton Hartsell officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Bostic. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of The Carolina Foothills; P O Box 336; Forest City, NC 28043.
