Alfred "Scott" Navey, age 46, of Greenwood, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

Scott was a native of Rutherford County. Scott was the life of the party and a people person. Scott was a very hard worker, and he loved his family.

Scott is survived by his parents, Karen Causby (Dennis), and Arnold Keith Navey, his son, Ethan Scott Navey (Hannah), grandson on the way, and his siblings, Harold Hatcher, Keith Navey (DeeDee), Rodney Navey (Donna), Cindy Navey Thompson (Brad), Michelle Willis (Tim), Kevin Navey (Melissa), and Doug Navey.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2025, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:15 PM, Friday, September 19, 2025 with Pastor Keith Navey officiating. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
