Alvin B. Hannah, age 90, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Mission Hospitals in Asheville, NC.

Alvin was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy J. Hannah. He was a native of Alabama.

Alvin is survived by, two daughters, Cindy Lynn Mattern, and Connie Trace Grooms, one son, Gregory Charnel Hannah, one sister, Gail Hannah, two brothers, Ralph Hannah, and Hershel Hannah, six grandchildren, Andrew Grooms, Lucas Grooms, Stephanie Grooms, Dillon Mattern, Gregory Hannah, and David Hannah, and seven great-grandchildren.
