Amelia "Amy" Temple, age 86, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

A native of Ubly, MI Amy was the daughter of the late Bob and Minnie Hall. In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Temple.

Amy is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Mirabal, and Becky Temple (Timothy Drewery), and six grandchildren, Amelia Mirabal, Rachel Spicer, Cristina Mirabal, Amanda Mirabal, John Stanbarger, and Jorge Mirabal.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025, with Mike Gettys officiating. Interment will follow at Spindale City Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangement.
