Angela Annette Bridges, affectionately known as "Tater-head," age 56, of Union Mills, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at her residence. Angela was the daughter of the late Everette and Nelma Hardin Rhodes and a native of Rutherford County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Cochran. Angela worked in production for several local industries until her retirement. She was a member of the Spindale Church of the Brethren. She loved to garden in her flower beds, and her grandchildren were the loves of her life. Survivors include her husband, Gene Brian Bridges; two sons, Brandon Cochran and wife, Erin, and Austin Bridges; one daughter, Jennifer Moore and husband, Bobby; two brothers, Wesley Rhodes and Samson Rhodes; honorary sister, Lisa Biddy; one aunt, Rita Hardin; five grandchildren, Drake Willis, Joelynne Moore, Marianna Bridges, Scarlett Cochran and Sullivan Cochran The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2022 at McMahan's Funeral Home.
