Ann May Watson, age 85, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, May 26, 2019, at her home. She was a native of Queens, NY and the daughter to the late Joseph Batchelder and the the late Elizabeth Graham Batchelder. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Rutherfordton and a devout Christian. Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to read and meet new people and was very generous. Ann also loved to collect anything with butterflies on it. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Joseph Batchelder Jr. and Richard Batchelder and two sisters; Shirley Whipperman and Frances Rung.

She is survived by her husband of sixty one years Lawrence Watson.
