Annie Lou Stallings, age 99, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, January 10, 2022, at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home. She was the daughter of the late Matt and Mamie Cole Splawn and a native of  Rutherford County.  She was also preceded in death by her husband James Stallings and daughter Carol S. Pate; twin sister Mary Sue Head and her sister Bernice Crabtree.  Annie Lou was gifted with a friendly personality and had a multitude of friends all her life.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Annie was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

One Son: Rick Stallings of Atlanta, GA One son-in-law John Pate Three Grandchildren:  Melissa Condrey (Phil); Jamie Harris (Dwayne); Alicia James. Nine Great-Grandchildren Nine Great-Great-Grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at McMahan's Funeral Home.  The Funeral service will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022  with Reverend Scott Moneyham  officiating.  Interment will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery,  Memorials may be made to Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home; 1881 Big Island Road; Rutherfordton, NC 28139.  McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
