Anthony (Tony) Farrell Edwards met his Lord in the early hours of August 23rd after a hard-fought battle of fourteen years with cancer.

He passed peacefully surrounded by his family, his beloved wife Leame, his devoted mother Linda, his loving daughters, Letha and Abi, his trusting son, Farrell, and his best friend and brother, Todd (AKA Uncle Don). He is also survived by his three sisters, Kimberly Edwards Capps, Heather Crosby Justice, and Shara Crosby. He was an amazing grandfather to Tatum, Luna, and Lincoln.

A true Tar Heel, Tony was born on November 28, 1965, to Linda and Farrell Edwards. His humor, generosity, and huge heart knew no boundaries from the verdant foothills of the Carolinas to the lush tropics of the Philippines. A celebration of life and legacy will be held in the latter part of November. If you wish to honor his memory, a contribution can be made to the Tony Edwards Foundation for the betterment of people and children of Tabogon Cebu, Philippines (full address to be posted soon).
