Arnold "Bud" Wesley Conner, age 78, of Gilkey, NC, died Monday, September 20, 2021, at Henderson Care Center.

He was the son of the late General Conner and the late Gladys Taylor Conner, and he was a native of Rutherford County.

Bud was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Conner, and one brother, Richard Conner.

Bud is survived by one sister, Evelyn "Ebb" Elliot.

There will be a private, family only, interment for Bud. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis 38105.
