Barbara J. Jones, age 91, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

She was the daughter of the late Warren Frary and the late Hazel Frary. Barbara was a native of New York. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Jones and by seven siblings.

Survivors include, four daughters, Penny Beneway (Jeff Trost), Wendy Davis (Michael), Sandra Foley (Brian), and Tammy Mack, two sons, Daniel Mack (Linda), and Eric Jones, one brother, Ralph Frary, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

There are no local services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
