Beatrice "Bea" Sluder Mitchell Thompson age 78 of Christiansburg, VA passed away on August 1, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Roy Sluder and the late Ora Osborne Sluder. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie Osborne, Roy Sluder Jr and Herburt Sluder. Bea was preceded in death by her first husband Roy E. Mitchell and her second husband James E. Thompson. Survivors include two sons: Roy E. "Ed" Mitchell Jr. And Timothy "Wayne" Mitchell One grandson: James-Robert E. Mitchell One brother: Bobby Sluder A memorial graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Gilkey United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Unity Christian Church, 400 Tyler Avenue Radford, VA 24141.
