Betty Jo Brady, age 84, of Forest City, NC, died Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Fair Haven of Forest City.

She was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Lee Elliotte. Betty was the widow of the late Carl John Brady. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.

She is survived by

One Son: Michael Brady

Two Sisters: Shirley Burgin Peggy Votaw and her husband Paul

One Brother: Jimmy Rodger Elliotte

Two Nephews: Jimmy Dean Burgin David Wade Burgin

One Niece: Teresa Gail Franklin and her husband Dennis

One great-nephew: Clinton Franklin

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Little White Country Church Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Ruppe officiating. Betty will lie-in-state from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home, for people from the nursing home to come and see her. The family will greet friends after the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Little White Country Church Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
