Brandon Nicholas "Nick" Sprouse, age 24, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

Nick was a gifted athlete who loved football, and playing with his kids, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was a quiet guy at times but could be hilarious when he wanted to be. His smile and sparkling blue eyes would light up a room. Nick cherished and loved his family more than anything, and he will be greatly missed by all of them. He was preceded in death by his beloved Nana, Sandra Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Brandy Moore, his fathers, Kenny Moore (Amy McDonald), Allen Britt, one daughter, Addilyn Danyelle Sprouse, one son, Lincoln Carter Sprouse, two brothers, Matthew Britt (Aundrea) and Austin Moore, four sisters, Brittany Moore, Kamryn McDonald, Rilee McDonald, and Ava McDonald, nieces and nephews, Liam and Easton Britt, Mackenzie, Karsyn, and Hynleigh Moore, grandparents, Freda Freeman, and Ken, and Donna Vassey, his lifelong best friends Cody Bailey and David Conner who he loved like brothers, and many other family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, February 4, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  The memorial service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 4, 2022, with Pastor Chad Dillard officiating. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
