Brenda Boone Bennick, age 62, of Rutherfordton, NC, formerly of the Shiloh Community, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

Brenda was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Junior and Bobby Boone. In her younger years Brenda loved to ride horses, and she has always been an animal lover. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Williams.

Brenda is survived by her companion of 25 years, Larry W. Earp, two sons, Chris Bennick (Nancy), and Tyler Bennick, one sister, Debbie Goode, two brothers, Butch Boone, Neal Boone, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Brenda will lie-in-state from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2024 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2024. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heart of the Foothills, 380 U.S. Hwy 221 N, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
