Bud Greenway, age 72, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Fair Haven of Forest City.

He was the son of the late Frank and Louise Greenway, and he was a native of Rutherford County. Bud worked at the family restaurant with his parents called, Greenway's Cafe. He faithfully attended Calvary Baptist Church for many years. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by three sisters, Sara Lovelace, Sandy Hill, Frankie Smith, and one brother, Rusty Greenway.

Bud is survived by two brothers, Doug Greenway, of Rutherfordton and his wife Lesia, Randy Greenway, of Rutherfordton and his wife Lecia, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be at Calvary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2022, with Reverend Rick Wall and Reverend Scottie Huffine officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
