Carl T. Dobbins, age 92, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at his home.

A native of Rutherford County, Carl was the son of the late Henry C. Dobbins and the late Myrtle Grayson Dobbins, and Luvenia Summers Dobbins, who raised him. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys E. Dobbins, his brothers, Ernest Dobbins, Billy Dobbins, and Roger Dobbins, and his sister, Helen D. Phillips. Carl was a member of Adaville Baptist Church, and he worked at Master Craft for 26 years before he retired. Carl was always willing to give a helping hand, and he was loved by all that met him.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Mary Lane Campbell, his son, Mark Thomas Dobbins and his wife Becky, and his one granddaughter, Ariel Christina Ellane Campbell and her husband Devin Radford.

The family will receive friends Tuesday December 30, 2025 at McMahan's Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Peter Surran officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association in honor of Carl; Western Carolina Chapter 4600 Park Road, suite 250; Charlotte, NC 28209. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
