Charles Wessels, age 56, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Dale Wessels. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Julie Dopson. Charles was a native of Clinton, Iowa. Survivors include his wife: Juanita K. Wessels. Mother: Barbara Wessels of Morrison, IL Two Daughters: Elizabeth Milligan and her husband Adam of Allendale, MI Jenee Iden and her husband Vinson of Rock Hill, SC Three Sons: Ryan Wessels and his wife Angela of Oostburg, WI James Lacey and his wife Erin of Lancaster, SC Ray Lacey and his wife Megan of Noblesville, IN One Sister: Jill Balk and her husband James of Garrison, IA Nine Grandchildren The Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at McMahan's Funeral Home.
