Charles R. White, age 88, of Union Mills, died Friday, October 6, 2017, at Colonial Manor Health Care. He was the son of the late John White and the late Vinnie Foster White. Charles was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Centennial United Methodist Church. He was also a US Army veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Foster, Rex, Zeb, Reid and Roy; sisters Azylee Watson and Edna Epley Survivors include Two step-sons: Jeff Bennett and his wife Tina of Rutherfordton Gerald Bennett One brother: Donald White One grandaughter: Lauren Bennett The body will lie in state from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, October 9, 2017 at Centennial United Methodist Church. The Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 9, 2017 at Centennial United Methodist Church with Pastor Dori Noble officiating. Interment will take place at Centennial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
