Charmaine Yvonne Sisk, 79, of Rutherfordton & Hickory passed away on Saturday January 6th, 2024.

Born March 1st, 1944 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harold Holt and Katie Dobbins Arrowood.

In addition to her parents, Charmaine was preceded in death by her brother, Levi M Arrowood, Jr.

Charmaine had a passion for her grandchildren, music (especially bluegrass and shag), the arts, birdwatching, event planning, loved animals and enjoyed life in general.

Charmaine was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. She was also a member of the Rutherford County Historical Society, where she served as president from 1990-1994, and remained a board member.  She also served as volunteer at Rutherford County Humane Society.

After her retirement from Mastercraft Corporation, Charmaine operated an antique and collectables business, Rainbo's Antiques.

Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Leslie "Scott" Godfrey, Jennifer KittGodfrey, and Karen Godfrey Harshman and husband Dale, four grandchildren, Dustin Craig Jones, Rachel Ann Harshman, Alyssa Katherine Harshman and Dale Stephen Harshman; also six great grandchildren, Emma Kate Jones, Blake David Jones, Jaxon Robert Lee, Aubree Marie Harshman, Luke James Harshman, and Jacob Scott Brooks.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM to 2:00PM at McMahan's Funeral Home Wednesday January 10, 2024. The memorial service will be at 2:00PM at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday January 10, 2024 with Pastor Scott Hooks, and Pastor Brian Odham officiating. Inurnment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rutherford County Historical Society. P.O. Box 1044 Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
