Christine "Cricket" Jones, age 71, of Forest City, NC, died Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

She was the daughter of the late C.F. Jones. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Jones.

Cricket was a native of Rutherford County. She was a member of Mt Hebron United Methodist Church. Survivors include; her mother Jessie Jones

The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Rutherfordton City Cemetery. In keeping with Cricket's wishes there will be no visitation. Interment will be at Rutherfordton City Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
