Clifford "Bud" Martin, age 81, of Mooresboro, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills. He was the son of the late George Reed Martin and the late Cora Poole Martin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Bailey Martin and a brother Carl William Martin. Bud was a farmer and a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church. He was a native of Polk County. Survivors include: Four Sisters: JoAnn Eldokroury and her husband Mohamed of Spartanburg Janice Ayers and her husband Wilburn of Caroleen Frances Jones and her husband Drury of Ellenboro Patricia Kasper and her husband Wayne of Arden Two Brothers: James Martin and his wife Thelma of Fletcher J.B. Martin and his wife Brenda of Chesnee The family will receive friends Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at Fork Creek Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 15, 2018 with Reverend Billy Cogdell officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
