Connie J. Burnett Whiteside, age 67, of Mill Spring, NC, died Sunday, December 17, 2023, at her home.

Connie was the daughter of the late Willie B. Burnett and Mary Sue Ruff Burnett, and she was a native of Polk County.  In addition to her parents, Connie was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Whiteside.

Survivors include, one daughter, Ashley Whiteside Claros (Armando), one son, Jonathan Whiteside, one sister, Linda Potter, one brother, Roger Burnett, five grandchildren,  Austin, Mariana, Landen, Kayla, and Nathaniel.

There will be a Private graveside service at Cooper's Gap Baptist Church cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
