Dale Gordon Lange age 80 ,of Dunnellon FL, died Friday January 5, 2024.

At Cates Hospice House of Marion County FL. She was the daughter of Armand and Delia Ward and a native of Savannah GA . Miss Dale was an educator for Rutherford School District for 23 years and taught grades 1-12 as well as music education. Dale played several instruments, but the piano was her favorite.

She is survived by her husband of 7 ½ years of marriage,  Mike Lange of Dunnellon, daughter, Sara Lynn Gordon, son, David Jonathan Gordon, granddaughter, Sarah Kathryn Gordon, brother's, Jon and Pug Ward, and family all of Rutherford County. Also, stepson, Mike Gordon and family of Hickory, NC , stepdaughter, Laura Stone of Rutherfordton, NC, and stepson, Michael Lange of Greenville, SC.

The memorial service will be at Second Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, on Friday January 26, 2024, with Reverend Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the memorial service at Second Baptist Church in the sanctuary. Memorials may be made to the Rutherford County Humane Society, P. O. Box 998, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. Inurnment will take place at Rutherfordton City Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
