David Blake Greene, age 32, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024.

A native of Rutherford County, David was born to Kelly Greene, and Lisa Hutchins, January 28, 1992. David loved music, he loved animals, and body art. He was very good with his mechanical skills, and he was fascinated with fast and furious type cars. David had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bobby Blake, and Robert and Carolyn Dunaway, paternal grandparents, Ray and Nancy Hutchins, and Minter "Junior" Greene, and stepmother, Billie Greene.

Left to cherish David's memory are his parents, Randy and Lisa Hutchins, and Kelly Greene, his son, Jaxson Blake Greene, two brothers, Skyler Hutchins (Allyssa) and their son, David's nephew, Hayze, and Hunter Greene, his paternal grandmother, Nancy McMurry Greene, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The memorial service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sam Beddingfield and Reverend Raymond Byrd officiating. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
