Don G. Goforth, age 78, of Forest City, NC, died Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center.

He was the son of the late Cornelius Guy Goforth and the late Geneva Goforth. Don was a native of Rutherford county and a member of Centennial United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents Don was preceded in death by a son Brandon Goforth; brothers J.P. Goforth and Ray Goforth.

Don is survived by, one son, Scott Goforth, and his wife Angie, and two brothers, Vaughn Goforth, and Hicks Goforth.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Reverend Jack Bridges officiating.
