Donald H. Fox, age 88, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Edgar Lincoln Fox and the late Margaret Ahlers Fox and a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, member of First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton and loved to play golf in his younger days. He was preceded in death by two brothers; John L. Fox and David Fox. He is survived by his wife: Joan Fox. One Daughter: Diane Fox Earnest and her husband Steve. One Son: Robert Fox and his wife Lori. Five Grandchildren Eight Great-Grandchildren The Memorial service will be at the Memorial Garden of First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 1, 2017 with Reverend Dr. Sydnor Thompson III officiating.
