Donald Suttles, age 80, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Mission Hospital.

He was the son of the late Oscar Suttles and the late Rosa Lee Suttles and a native of McDowell County. Donald was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton. He was a mason and a member of Western Star Lodge # 91. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Warren Suttles, and one sister Jolynn Suttles Banner.

He is survived by his wife: Beverly A. Suttles.

And a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton at 4:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2020 with Reverend Dr. In - Yong Lee and Donnie Suttles officiating. The family will receive friends after the inurnment ceremony in the family life center at First United Methodist Church.
