Dorothy Rogers Crawford 87, of Rutherfordton died on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late W.W. and Annie Splawn Rogers. Dorothy was a member of Southern Baptist Church for over 40 years and had retired from the N.C. Agricultural Extension as a Nutrition Aide. She was preceded in death by a brother Wellford Rogers and a sister Grace Barnett. She is survived by her husband: Rev. L. Paul Crawford of Rutherfordton Two Daughters: Sharon Willis of Rutherfordton Sarah Lee and Husband Jackie of Bostic, NC One Son: Roger Crawford and wife Carolyn of Durham, NC Grandsons: Rodney Willis, Paul Willis, John Willis, Jason Lee, James Lee, Jonathan Lee Great Grandchildren Drake Willis, Jacob Willis, Savannah Willis and Jeremy Anderson One Brother: Ernest K. Rogers of Rutherfordton The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Southern Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. The funeral service will follow in the church at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Perry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
