Obituary
Edgar B. Bryant, age 93, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, April 19, 2021, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late James and Lollie Wilson Bryant and he was a native of Rutherford County. Edgar was the widower of the late Floy Abrams Bryant. Edgar was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents and wife, Edgar was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by:
One Daughter: Peggy Ann Bryant of Rutherfordton, NC
One Brother: Claude Bryant and wife Blanche, of Chesnee, SC
One grandson, Blake Bryant.
A graveside service will be at Grays Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 with Reverend Alvin Allen officiating. Interment will be at Gray's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. An online guest register is available at www.mcmahansfuneralhome.com. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
