Edith "Edye" Beverly, age 64, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at her daughter's home in Florida surrounded by her family.

A native of Port Charlotte, FL, Edye was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick. Edye was a provider and caregiver to her family and community. As a Nurse Practitioner she worked hard to provide the highest standard of care to her patients, and taught others to do the same. As a wife, mother, and loving Mimi (grandmother) there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her family. She was a blessing to all.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Lloyd Beverly, two daughters, Sonya (Kristina) Beverly, and Alexis Heileman, her son, Chris Heileman, two brothers, Bill Fitzpatrick, and Bobby Fitzpatrick, and one granddaughter, Aria Nicole Beverly.

The graveside service will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City, NC at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2024. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
