Obituary
Ernest Lane Sr., age 74, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his home.
He was the son of the late Mal Lane and the late Mary Davis Lane and a native of Rutherfod County. He was also preceded in death by his siblings; James Lane, Howard Lane and Estelle Honeycutt.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy Greene Lane. One Son: Ernest Lane Jr. One step-son; William Scott Skipper (Martha) Two step-daughters LaDonna Hoyle and Becky Mullinex (Alan)
One Sister: Betty Joe Anderson (Charles)
One Brother: Randall Lane
The memorial service will be at Ellenboro Community Church at 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2025 with Reverend Neil Murray officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory
