Floyd "Junior" Laughter, age 92, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, April 15, 2016, at Hospice House of Rutherford County in Forest City. He was a native of McDowell County and the son of the late Roscoe Laughter and the late Pearl Searcy Laughter. Junior was a member of the Nealsville Church of God and was retired from Broyhill. He also loved to work in his garden. Junior was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years Colene McEntire Laughter, his second wife Jean Laughter, three brothers; Carl, Leonard and Ford Laughter, one sister Pauline Morgan, two sons; Floyd and Lee Roy Laughter and one granddaughter Melissa Laughter. He is survived by: Four Grandchildren: Todd Laughter and wife Crystal, Kristi King and husband Bryan, Tonya Frazier and husband Joe and Alan Laughter and wife Sung Hee. Three Great-Grandchildren: Lindsay Frazier Macy Frazier Caroline King. Two Step-sons: Steve Laughter and wife Shirley Kenneth Laughter and wife Karen Two Daughters in Law: Nettie Laughter Pam Pilgrim The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 18, 2016 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at Gilkey Church of God at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 with Rev. Douglas Carpenter, Rev. Dwayne Wright and Rev. Darrell Wright officiating.Interment will be at Gilkey Church of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nealsville Church of God Building Fund at 27 Bethel Church Rd.
