Frances Yelton Hamrick, age 91, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Nora Guffey Yelton and she was a native of Rutherford County. Frances was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton. She was a graduate of Rutherford Hospital School of Nursing. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Alexander, and two brothers, Wayne Yelton and Leonard Yelton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years: Lewis Hamrick.

One Daughter: Summer Lou Williams and her husband Stephen  of Twinsburg, OH

One Son: William Lewis "Bill"  Hamrick, Jr. and his wife Susan  of Wernersville, PA

One Brother: Dr. Ernest Yelton, of Rutherfordton, NC

Three grandchildren, Christopher Hamrick, Brandon Hamrick, and Sean Williams,  and four great-grandchildren.

There will be a private service for family and close friends in honor of Frances with Reverend Dr.  In - Yong Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton, 246 North Main St. Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
