Frank "F.D." Stallings, age 89, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Rutherford Hospital He was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was retired from Mastercraft. A native of Rutherford County, He was the son of the late Ben Stallings and the Late Daisy Geer Stallings and was the widower of the late Ruby Kiser Stallings. He is Survived by several Nieces and Nephews The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Southern Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at Southern Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2011,with Rev. John Perry, Jr. and Rev. Richard Bass officiating. Interment with Military Honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard will be at Mount Vernon Baptist Cemetery, Forest City, NC Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O.
