Fred Abraham Nanney, age 77, of Bostic, died Friday, March 23, 2018, at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte. He was the son of the late Ben Nanney and the late Ida Mae Laughter Nanney. In addition to his parents Fred was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Toney Nanney; a son James Willis Nanney; a daughter Marsha Gail Nanney. Fred was a member of Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church of Sunshine, NC. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Sandra Nanney Fowler and her husband Chuck of Rutherfordton Betty Nanney of Gaffney, SC One Son: Stanley Norman Nanney and his wife Sharon of Spindale One Sister: Gladys Hughes of Shelby Fifteen Grandchildren Twenty Great-grandchildren The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Father's Vineyard Church. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Father's Vineyard Church with Reverend Monty Montieth and Reverend Paul Lane officiating. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
