Fronia Griswold Hodge, age 97, of Rutherfordton died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late William Mack Griswold and the late Helen Lester Cole Griswold. She was a member of West Memorial Baptist Church and Retired from Tanner Companies. Fronia was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Henry Hodge, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by One Daughter: Gail Teulon of Fern Park, FL One Sister: Martha Whitener of Rutherfordton One Grandchild: John David Hawkins and wife Tammy of Maitland, FL Two Great-Grandchildren: Kathryn Hawkins, John Cole Hawkins and a number of special neices and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at West Memorial Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. The funeral service will be at West Memorial Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2015 with Rev. Charley Melton officiating. Interment will be at West Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
