Gerald Allen Pendleton, age 85, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center in Rutherfordton, NC. He was a native of Charlotte, NC and the son of the late James Franklin Pendleton and the late Margaret O. Lemmonds. Gerald was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a hard working, very giving, proud and loving father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by one daughter Dana Hollifield and one sister Joretta O'Connor. He is survived by: One Daughter: Vickie P. Morris and her husband John of Charlotte, NC One brother: James O. Pendleton of Hickory, NC Four grandchildren Three great grandchildren The family will hold a gathering 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 for family and friends in the Activity room at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
