Glenda Ruth King, age 76, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, November 11, 2019, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Eugene Harrison and the late Viola Jane Self Harrison.

Glenda was a native of Yancey County and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Harris. She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: Her husband: Ned "Gene" King.

Four Daughters: Eugena King Beverly King Cindy Turner and her husband Ronnie Jacqueline Fernandes

Two Sons: Jeff King and his wife Tamara David King

Eleven Grandchildren and thirteen Great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Riverside Baptist Church in Harris. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Riverside Baptist Church with Reverend Ted Blankenship officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Harris, NC.
