Glenn S. Hutchins, age 84, of Rutherfordton, died Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Mission Hospitals in Asheville, NC. He was the son of the late Lidge Hutchins and the late Lela Hutchins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Steven Hutchins; brothers and sisters Frances Matheny, Ray Hutchins, Mary Sue Conner, Alma Webb, Joseph Hutchins and Arthur Hutchins. Glenn was a member of Wilson Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Pauline "Polly" Hutchins. Two Sons: Larry Hutchins and his wife Sylvia Billy Hutchins and his partner Skip Austin Two Sisters: Annie Ledbetter Beverly Adair Two Brothers: Charles Hutchins Arnold Hutchins One Granddaughter: Shelly Little The family will receive friends Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Edwards and Reverend Billy Bostic officiating. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
