Gloria Jean Shepherd Wilkie, age 80, of Forest City, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Clifford Shepherd and Sydna Shepherd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jeff Wilkie and a sister Jackie Meyers.

Gloria was a native of Alexandria, VA. She was a member of Harmon Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years Cecil B. Wilkie they where married on October 16, 1961.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 19, 2022 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Butler officiating.
