Grace Elizabeth Lewis Nodine, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Pearlie Mae Lewis and she was a native of Rutherford County. Grace was the widow of the late Robert Nodine Sr. She was a member of West Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband Grace was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Nodine, one daughter, Charlotte Patricia Whitaker, two sisters, Marie Martin, and Earlene Honeycut, and two brothers, David Lewis, and Charles Lewis.

She is survived by

Three Daughters: Debbie Toms and husband Danny, Ella Mae Suttles and husband Junior, and Libby Dunaway

Three Sons: Robert Nodine Jr. and wife Judy, Billy Nodine and wife Janet, and Jimmy Nodine

Two Sisters: Louise Ferguson Juanita Thrasher

Sister-in-law: Verlene Lewis

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at West Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at West Memorial Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 7, 2020 with Reverend Alan Beane officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton, NC. The family has requested that all guest wear a mask to all services as well as practice social distancing.
