Helen Taylor age 86, of Forest City, died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her home.

She was born February 27, 1935 in Dresden, TN to the late Frank and Beulah Matheny. Mrs Taylor was a native of Rutherford county. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Taylor; Brothers: Larry Dale Matheny and Franklin Matheny; Sisters: Mary Roberson, Sara Porter and Shelby Ojeda.

Helen was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She was a dedicated employee for K-Mart in Forest City for 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She will be forever missed and loved by all.

She is survived by: Three Daughters: Tammie Harrill (Scott) Sandra Skipper Judy Hammett (Tommy)

Two Sons: Charles Taylor (Lisa) Jerry Taylor 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 12, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ethan Gardner officiating.
