Jackie Goforth, age 66, of Union Mills, NC, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at his daughters home in Rutherfordton, NC. He attended Pilgrims Way Baptist Church and was a veteran of US Army, served in 101st Airborne. He is survived by his wife; Pat Atchley Goforth. One Daughter: Sherrie Lynn Angelo and her husband Richard Angelo of Rutherfordton One Son: Jack Douglas Goforth of Rutherfordton One Sister: Lola Jean Yoder of Marion Three Grand Children: Makayla Ownbey, Makenize Ownbey and Jordan Goforth The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Pilgrims Way Baptist Church, located at 485 Hamilton Road, Rutherfordton, before the service. The Memorial service will be at Pilgrims Way Baptist Church at 4:00 PM, Thursday with Rev. Wayne Stafford, Rev. Pete Bridges and Rev. Terrell Dillingham officiating.
