David Skipper, age 74, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Charles George VA Hospice in Asheville, NC.

He was the son of the late Ed Skipper and  Pauline Skipper. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Judy Hodge and a brother Frank Skipper. David was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Second Baptist Church. He loved gardening and to work on his clocks.

Survivors include;

Two Sisters: Gail Ledbetter Teresa Skipper

One Brother: Bobby Skipper

A number of special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Second Baptist Church Sanctuary. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Second Baptist Church of Rutherfordton with Reverend Dr. Keith Stephenson and Reverend Brandon Wood officiating. Interment will be at Rutherfordton City Cemetery, McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
